My girlfriend and I were having a blast. We were able to afford a nice apartment in a great part of Buckhead area of Atlanta. Cindy and I wanted us to move to Georgia to get away from the cold weather in Chicago, and really enjoy how nice the people were in Atlanta when we visited. We both looked at our move as the start of our lives together. Everything was going according to plan, until one day Cindy was died while having her appendix removed.

I was devastated. While I was working, I certainly couldn’t afford to pay for our apartment everything else with my job alone, and while trying to go to school and work at the same time, I was ready to lose my mind.

There wasn’t more than $200 in my savings, as I spent everything I could to make the move up here. On top of that my credit wasn’t all that great.
