We ain’t in Kansas anymore. Real life is a dog eat dog world I found out. I thought that everything goes through the justice system, what’s right will prevail and that you can’t just get beat for nothing. I was wrong. I got the tar beat out of me and I still owe the same amount I did before. Plus I owe an extra hospital bill on top of it.

I made a bad bet. It didn’t seem like a bad bet because I had a lot of know how about sports. But it was a bad bet because I didn’t have the money to back it up. What more could I have done. Two cars in front of me were going into a head on collision it looked like. I realized that if I didn’t do something quick I would be part of it too. So I swerved onto the wrong side of the road and avoided the accident. The two cars avoided the accident too. No one actually got hurt. However, right after the light a cop decided to pull me over. I got a ticket!

I really couldn’t believe it. You have no idea how upset I am over this. I try to avoid an accident and because I actually did avoid it I get a ticket. Then I told the judge all this in court and all he said was “I wasn’t there but this officer says that you are accountable. It only requires a preponderance of evidence. I’ll have to fine you.”
