We lost our house in foreclosure this year.  After some bad investments and the divorce, there were no other options.  We sold our clothes, furniture, Christmas decorations and even toys in a garage sale in August.  There wouldn’t be room in our new apartment, and we needed the money just for moving expenses.  I’m so proud of the way my kids handled it.

What are you going to do, just give up?  Now, I’m determined to make this a good Christmas and next year will be much, much better than 2008.  With just a $250, I could get a tree, some gifts and maybe take the boys on a trip to their grandparents in Memphis.
